first there was news of uncle sam asking the government to release the hindraf leaders.
"KUALA LUMPUR: MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu has urged the Government to release the five Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) leaders detained under the ISA."

he claimed that it's no publicity stunt. he's doing it for the sake of indians.
“This is done in fairness, sympathy and, also, we feel that as Indians, we have to do something about it. It is not a publicity stunt,” he said.

he says wives of 2 ISA detainees met him for help.
"Samy Vellu said the wives of Kenghadaran and Manoharan approached MIC for help to get their husbands released."

and uncle sam says two of the detainees have not been REALLY involved in the rally.
"He said another two, V. Ganabatirau, 34, and K. Vasantha Kumar, 34, had not been that involved in the Hindraf rally in Kuala Lumpur on Nov 25 last year."

uncle sam, how do you say that a person is not really involved? it's either he IS or NOT. no middle ground about it.

“I had already made some moves on this earlier but I did not tell anyone. I will now make a firm move to see what can be done by the Government with regard to their plight,” said Samy Vellu.

no comment about the above. obviously it's just a joke. a lame one! he didn't say anything last year when it would've mattered. he was keeping his mouth shut. now that he lost in the election, he thinks he can say anything.

isa detainee M. Manoharan’s wife S. Pushpaneelais denies seeking uncle sam's help.
“I didn’t go and see Samy Vellu,” she said.

the other detainee, R. Kenghadaran’s wife Dr M. Kalaivani says that she only went to him when her husband was first detained and not recently.
“It must have been two or three weeks after their detention, and we went to see Samy Vellu in his capacity as the leader of the Indian community,” she said.

so uncle sam, what are you trying to do? when will you realize that it's just too late? you could have spoken earlier when the people were first detained. u didn't do anything then because you were afraid your ass will be on fire.

right now, you are doing this to seek publicity. yes, we know this is just a gimmick. we know that you are ready to say anything to gain people's trust. we know you are doing this because you've lost the support of the people.

please realize that people no longer want you. please please stop embarrassing yourself. do yourself a favour n shut the fuck up.!
