rpk to kamunting

rpk has been sent to camp kamunting for two years starting yesterday.

the stay period can be extended indefinitely.

syed hamid albar keeps saying that rpk's a threat to national security. i ask you syed hamid, where is your proof?

it's disappointing to see the government always taking the easy way out when it comes to dealing with people who go against the grain.

when is this going to stop? will we ever see the light?

the hope that i had is slowly but surely fading away. anwar after all the talk, is still not yet to deliver.

how sad! :(

the year that has been...

got my international passport

visited a foreign country for the first time
- chiang mai and bangkok

got my tattoo

got a 10% percent salary increment

attended opposition's speeches

voted for the first time

went to penang and frasers hill for the first time

got a few attractive job offers

delivered quality systems to the company

attended toastmasters gatherings

received best table topic award

first time visit to police station to make reports

first annual dinner in saree

collected quite a lot of books from company for charity

rejected a couple of job opportunities for the sake of not being selfish

aunty at restaurant

we were at a chinese restaurant last saturday. we ordered fish head curry, japanese tofu and soup. the portions were big and halfway through, i was done.

a middle aged lady came to our table asking for food. since the food would be wasted otherwise, we decided to pack it and give to the lady.but the lady insisted on having the food with us as she said she has no home, so how to eat at home.

while the food was getting packed, the lady saw a bowl of soup by my side. she asked if the soup was mine. i said yes. she took and drank it.

the packed food arrived. the lady was not pleased. she grabbed it from the helper and went away without a word of thanks.

not that we did it to get her gratitude, but a simple thanks would've been nice.

i guess, she was just angry and hungry and feels she doesn't owe the world a thing.

the search begins..

i went to cc yesterday. have updated my resume. am now looking for jobs in singapore/jb. there's a better possibility of getting a job in singapore than jb i guess.

it'll be so tiring to travel to/fro singapore everyday. and if ck's not around, it'll be extra tiring. it'll require me to be extra independent. let's see how things go.

given a choice, i wouldn't want to work in singapore, being a foreigner, looked down by singaporeans. it's not very nice, is it?

it is not...

it is not going to happen today. after all the talking, anwar is saying that he has enough majority to form the government but not yet as he's waiting to meet badawi to ensure a smooth transition of power without mishaps.

hmmm....i think anwar is losing credibility by the hour by not even showing the defectors list as of 5.30 pm today.

how sad! :(

the moment of truth

the opposition is claiming that it has enough majority to form a new government. i'm still waiting for the moment of truth.

so much could have been avoided if only badawi and najib agreed to step down earlier. they should have realized that it's not so much about rakyat supporting the oppositin as to their hate for the corrupted ruling party which has endlessly played the racial card.

the moment is here, anwar please walk the talk as your credibility is on question here.
